Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an FSQA Supervisor to lead technicians on the 2nd shift, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will verify records, support audits, and coordinate corrective actions across shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will oversee HACCP reassessment, train team members, and prepare for GFSI and customer audits while maintaining compliance with USDA, GMP, and SSOPs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in a food manufacturing environment required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• HACCP/HARPC certifications preferred; knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs.
• Basic computer skills; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA technicians on the assigned shift.
• Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct audits and assist in ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare the facility for GFSI and customer audits.
• Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material, and environmental issues.
• Verify production paperwork and perform production floor checks.
• Execute GMP and SSOP audits to ensure cleanliness and standards.
• Oversee annual HACCP reassessment.
• FacilitateTeam Member food safety training.
• Coverage on other shifts and occasional weekend work.
