Job summary

John Soules Foods seeks a 2nd Shift FSQA Supervisor to lead plant QA programs in Gainesville, GA. You will oversee HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and product specifications while ensuring training and policy enforcement across departments.

The role requires QA leadership experience in food processing, strong communication, and the ability to manage safety and quality goals in a production setting. Evening hours and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of previous QA experience or higher education.
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in food processing / manufacturing environment.
• Previous QA Supervisor experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs.
• Great computer skills.
• Ability to stand ground and enforce policies, programs, and specifications.
• High level of organizational skills.
• High energy, self-starter, and ability to work and complete work in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of staff and management.
• EN/Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Bachelor of Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate quality assurance role to ensure food safety and quality are maintained.
• Work in concert with all departments for the good of customers.
• Ensure that the quality assurance department staff is properly trained.
• Help in the meeting of budgetary and performance goals.
• Uphold and enforce all food safety policies and practices.
• Communicate complaints.

Education

5 years of QA experience

2+ years in food processing / manufacturing

Bachelor of Science preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
