Qualifications

• Three years supervisory or lead QA experience in a USDA-regulated facility, or a bachelor’s degree with a QA/internship.
• Strong oral and written communication with a team-focused approach.
• Ability to organize work within schedule constraints and handle emergent needs.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; comfortable learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and leads QA Techs to ensure compliance with Food Safety & Quality programs and specifications.
• Guides internal audits and trains new team members on HACCP-related programs.
• Investigates customer concerns and tracks supplier foreign material issues.
• Liaises with USDA on day-to-day functions and supplier material reporting.
