Qualifications

• BS degree in Animal Science or related field.
• 5+ years QA/FS leadership in meat processing or value-added food processing.
• HACCP, GMP and SSOP knowledge and certification.
• GFSI standard knowledge; GF certification training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise FSQA personnel and cover multiple QA roles as needed.
• Lead audits, investigations and CAPA with regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with Quality Control and production to drive quality improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of USDA/FSIS and state regulations; manage records.

Education

B.S. Degree in Animal Science, Food Science or related field

HACCP Certified

GFSI Certification knowledge
