Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to oversee the FSQA department, ensuring top safety and quality standards across operations. Manage budgets, turnover, safety, and special projects while coordinating with corporate teams.

The role requires leading FSQA staff, implementing HACCP/HARPC & SSOP programs, and ensuring customer specifications are met. Strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with USDA/FDA are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years in a food manufacturing environment; HACCP/USDA/GMP/SSOP knowledge.
• Experience supervising FSQA staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA Supervisors and Technicians, including selection and training.
• Oversee production verification from raw materials to finished product quality.
• Develop and maintain HACCP/HARPC & SSOP programs.
• Report issues and audit results to plant and corporate FSQA teams.
• Engage with customers for plant tours and audits.
