Job summary

Tyson Foods in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced FSQA Manager to oversee the daily operations of the FSQA department, driving food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across the facility.

You will lead FSQA Supervisors and Technicians, manage budgets, and drive HACCP/HARPC and SSOP programs, while engaging with customers and audits to ensure product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in a food manufacturing environment required.
• Experience with HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with fully cooked/ready-to-eat proteins and regulatory programs.

Responsibilities

• Policy adherence: ensure Tyson FSQA policies and procedures are followed.
• Leadership: lead FSQA Supervisors and Technicians, including selection/training.
• Production verification: oversee practices from receiving to finished product quality.
• Sanitation support: monitor preoperational and operational sanitation.
• Program development: develop and maintain HACCP/HARPC & SSOP programs.
• Quality assurance: ensure finished products meet customer specs and labeling.
• Reporting: report issues/audits to plant/corporate FSQA, sales, R&D, ops.
• Customer interaction: engage with customers/agents for showings/audits.
• Complaint management: investigations and responses to complaints/trends.
• Analytical monitoring: monitor analytical results.
• New product commercialization: participate in bringing new products to market.
