Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience can substitute for education where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed quality and food safety goals set by plant management.
• Coordinate FSQA team for HACCP and SSOP implementation.
• Investigate QA and food safety processes and propose improvements.
• Oversee pre-operation sanitation and verify cleanliness of equipment.
• Monitor specifications and take corrective actions when needed.
• Direct and mentor FSQA employees and conduct performance reviews.
• Lead product shows and conference calls in absence of the supervisor.
