Job summary

Sarinas Consulting in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a hands-on FSQA Lead for a growing food manufacturing operation. You will work directly with production teams to ensure food safety standards are met and support employees in maintaining consistent quality across shifts.

The role includes coaching QA Technicians, conducting GMP audits, HACCP/HARPC compliance, reviewing test results, investigating nonconformances, and helping update SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years QA leadership in food manufacturing.
• Experience training/supervising QA personnel.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and QC procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work third shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach QA Technicians during daily production.
• Monitor safety and quality standards throughout production.
• Conduct GMP audits and HACCP/HARPC compliance.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished products.
• Review testing results and report deviations.
• Investigate nonconformances and assist corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and documentation.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Help develop and update SOPs.
• Monitor quality trends and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with production to address safety concerns.
