Job summary

CTI Foods, LLC in Owingsville, KY is seeking a hands-on FSQ team lead to work alongside the shift supervisor. The role involves guiding FSQ technicians, troubleshooting daily issues, and ensuring line processes meet customer specifications for in-process and finished products.

You will generate detailed shift recaps, support internal audits, and assist with product traceability, recalls, and audits. Strong GMP, HACCP knowledge and effective communication are essential to drive quality and food

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with preferred HACCP/PCQI awareness.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain and organize records and reports.
• Proficiency in Office programs and basic data handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure non-conforming products are held until disposition; release items after documentation and spec verification.
• Perform HACCP verification activities and SSOP monitoring as needed.
• Lead FSQ technicians and cover line duties during absences.
• Assist internal audits, product traceability, recalls, and customer audits.
• Provide technical assistance on deviation reports and product specs.
• Coordinate crew scheduling and production changes.
• Prepare detailed shift recap reports for management.
• Maintain housekeeping and compliance with GMPs and safety rules.
• Follow daily setup/shutdown procedures and ensure accurate records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
