Job summary

You will support quality and safety initiatives, maintain a clean work area, and participate in 12-hour night shifts (6 pm–6:30 am) on a 2-2-3 pattern with a shift differential. Travel to other SunOpta locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years related experience in Food Science/Food Technology, or a food or beverage production facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing such as pH, solids/moisture, sodium.
• Perform destructive aseptic package testing.
• Collect and communicate lab data with Quality Supervisor and Operations Shift Leaders.
• Perform incubation activities according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform microbiology testing including basic plating in clean room environment.
