Job summary

Fuse is seeking a Facility Security Officer / Insider Threat Program Senior Official (FSO/ITPSO) to own and stand up our facility security program from the ground up in Albuquerque, NM. This build-from-scratch role requires delivering FCL sponsorship, FOCI mitigation, and the ongoing personnel security and insider threat requirements for a cleared facility.

Qualifications

• Experience as Facility Security Officer and standing up a new Facility Clearance (FCL).
• Knowledge of NISPOM requirements for FSO and ITPSO roles.
• Experience managing personnel security clearance processes (investigations, adjudication).
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a personnel security clearance.
• Strong program-building skills, creating policies and training from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s designated Facility Security Officer (FSO) and fulfill NISPOM-required duties.
• Guide through FCL sponsorship and coordination with sponsoring agency and DCSA.
• Support and execute the FOCI mitigation process with leadership and outside counsel.
• Stand up and serve as Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO).
• Manage personnel security clearance processing and investigations.
• Develop and maintain facility security policies, procedures, and training.
• Conduct security education and awareness training for cleared and uncleared personnel.
• Coordinate with IT and GRC teams to align with CMMC/NIST SP 800-171 compliance.
• Maintain records, self-inspections, and reporting to DCSA.
