Job summary

Fuse is seeking a seasoned security professional to serve as Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO). You will own the security program from scratch, guiding FCL sponsorship and FOCI mitigation for a cleared facility in Albuquerque, NM.

This build-from-scratch role requires hands-on experience establishing policies, processes, training, and compliant operations. You will collaborate with leadership and external counsel to ensure ongoing government

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an FSO including standing up a new FCL.
• Knowledge of NISPOM requirements for FSO/ITPSO roles.
• Experience managing personnel security clearance processes (investigations, eApp, adjudication).
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a personnel security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance.
• Strong program-building skills: create policies, processes, and training from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company's designated Facility Security Officer (FSO) per NISPOM requirements.
• Guide FCL sponsorship with required forms and coordination with sponsoring agency and DCSA.
• Support and execute FOCI mitigation (e.g., SCA, AOP) in coordination with leadership and outside counsel.
• Stand up and serve as ITPSO, building the insider threat program under NISPOM.
• Manage personnel security clearance processing (initiating investigations, eApp, adjudication).
• Develop and maintain facility security policies and training for NISPOM compliance.
• Conduct security education and awareness training for cleared and uncleared personnel.
• Coordinate with Head of Security and IT/GRC to align with CMMC/NIST SP 800-171 requirements.
• Maintain records, self-inspections, and reporting to DCSA and stakeholders.
