Job summary

4Rivers Equipment is seeking a full-time Repair Technician for our Longmont, CO location. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment, communicating findings clearly to customers and team members.

The role emphasizes safety, professional presentation, and efficient repair workflows. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or 2+ years in electronics repair, solid computer skills, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar, or two years of experience in a related position.
• Prior experience in electronics repair is viewed favorably.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft products, and ability to learn and use diagnostic and repair software supplied by vendors.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, quote and repair equipment.
• Maintain inventory safety stock levels ensuring parts are on hand.
• Timely communication with all parties throughout the repair process.
• Stay current with training required by suppliers.
• Present yourself in a professional manner.
• Handle walk-in customer orders and product questions.
• Maintain tools and work bench; keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Assist with store maintenance and stocking as required.
• Assist with warehouse logistics as needed.
• Manage equipment for inbound and outbound transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Repair Technicians frequently sit for long periods of time doing repair work. Must be able to move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Repair Technicians work around hazards such as electrical, mechanical, and power equipment. They frequently have risk of exposure to chemicals, used oil, spent antifreeze, parts cleaning solvent, volatile hydrocarbons, battery acid, etc. Proper PPE must be used at all times.
