Job summary

The Simplot Company in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Fryer Operator to run line 1 or 4 blanchers, dryer, fryer, and related systems. You’ll ensure product quality in solids, color, and texture while monitoring equipment from start to finish.

Responsibilities include cross-training, safety, data entry in Wonderware, monitoring oil systems and additives, performing color and quality tests, and maintaining documentation. Previous process experience preferred; physical stamina required.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand and communicate in English to perform duties.
• Must complete Job Skill Evaluation prior to training.
• Must complete Structured Job Training within recommended timeframe.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals safely.
• Must use a computer and navigate data-entry applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate line 1 or line 4 blanchers, fryer, dryer and related systems.
• Cross-train on Line 1, Line 4 and Batter Operator duties.
• Monitor process data in Wonderware and maintain temperature records.
• Perform fry-ups, color measurements, and tests for SAPP, Sugar, FFA.
• Ensure safe oil system operation and proper additive flow.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and data entry.
