Job summary

Simplot Company in Ontario, United States, is seeking a Fryer Operator responsible for operation, sanitation, troubleshooting and repair of processing equipment from blanching to frying. You will ensure product quality and smooth line flow across production lines.

The role requires ability to read specifications, follow GMPs, maintain safety, perform basic maintenance with maintenance team, and train other plant personnel. Shift 6:00am-6:00pm; pay $25.00/hour; full-time.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from a college or technical school.
• 3–6 months related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Valid equipment operator license with Lift Truck endorsement within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
• Identify out-of-spec product and adjust the process.
• Perform quality checks and sampling per procedures.
• Create work orders for downtime or equipment issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance for preventative tasks.
• Operate processing equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform daily cleaning and major cleanup per standards.
• Support additional responsibilities as needed by management.
• Assist in training other plant personnel.
