General Summary Of Duties:

Prepare food safely at the kitchen / assigned fry station according to recipe standards for guest service.

Qualifications

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Slice, chop, dice, cook, and prepare food promptly to meet recipe standards for guest service.
  • Ensure prepared items are visually appealing.
  • Maintain adequate par levels to ensure all menu items can be served.

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for recipes, menus, instructions, safety notices, and communication.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as deep fryer, broiler, oven, and mixer.
  • Perform duties within temperature ranges from hot to refrigerated.
  • Manual dexterity for using kitchen knives and slicers.
  • Physical activity throughout the shift, including riding elevators.
  • Work in conditions that may be hot, noisy, or wet.
  • Follow product labeling instructions for safety.
  • Perform side work like replenishing condiments and restocking supplies.
  • Check station setup and cleanliness; report inventory to supervisor.
  • Adhere to sanitation standards and maintain a clean workstation ('CLEAN AS YOU GO').
  • Maintain attendance and a neat, professional appearance.

Education Requirements

  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Obtain/renew required licenses or certifications such as the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Non-Gaming Work Permit and Clark County Health Card.
