Job summary

A Fruit Cutter Specialist is needed to prepare fresh-cut fruit for retail sale at AFC Corporate locations. You will operate the fruit and vegetable stations, maintain safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards, and rotate products as per recipes.

Orientation lasts one week at a designated location, and the position is temporary full-time based on business needs. Responsibilities include precise knife work, adhering to safety guidelines, and maintaining product quality and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in food prep, produce, or grocery is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to safely use knives and food prep tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, slice, and package fresh fruit according to recipes and portion standards.
• Ensure products meet freshness, quality, and appearance standards.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Label, date, and rotate products using standard procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
