Job summary

320 Market Cafe in Swarthmore, PA, is seeking dependable, team-oriented individuals for our Cut Fruit position. This full-time role runs Thursday through Monday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with wages of $15.00–$18.00 per hour plus pooled tips after a probationary period.

You will prepare and package sliced fruit per recipes, maintain clean displays, and support a fast-paced retail kitchen in a family-owned, hybrid deli/market setting that values teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and packaging sliced fruit according to recipes.
• Ability to follow daily prep instructions and inventory targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of displays, fridges, and workstations.
• Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Professional, positive attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Follow supervisor instructions and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Builds cut fruit in retail packaging per given recipes and guides.
• Makes all prep associated with the product according to given recipes and daily pars.
• Maintains cleanliness and aesthetic of display cases and fridges.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage area.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Answer, report, and follow GM/KM instructions.
