Job summary

Dole Packaged Foods is seeking a production associate to ensure safe production and quality of Frozen Fruit through operation, maintenance and sanitation of packaging equipment. The role involves lifting, stacking, dumping, pushing and pulling frozen fruit boxes and strict adherence to GMP, HACCP and safety rules.

You'll work under close supervision, follow SOPs, document production details, and contribute to efficient operations while maintaining good attendance and complying with all

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as box markings, labels, schedules, safety rules, GMPs and general instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process and equipment.
• Previous operating experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment.
• Reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to operate manual and motorized pallet jack and walkie stacker.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company Safety Rules and GMPs.
• Follow all SOPs for operation of the equipment used.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency and downtime.
• Work in all areas of production and packaging as assigned, including operating near machinery.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, stacking, dumping, pushing and pulling frozen fruit boxes.
• Be available to work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays.
