Job summary

Dole Packaged Foods is seeking a production team member to support safe production and quality of Frozen Fruit. You will operate, maintain and sanitize packaging equipment, while complying with GMPs, safety rules, and company policies.

The role involves lifting and moving frozen fruit boxes, adhering to SOPs, and working across production areas with potential for overtime, weekends, and varying shifts to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret box markings, labels, schedules, safety rules, GMPs and general instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Previous operating experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment.
• Reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to operate manual and motorized pallet jack and walkie stacker.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Safety Rules and GMPs.
• Follow SOPs for operation of equipment used.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime.
• Work in all areas of production and packaging and operate equipment.
• Perform essential functions as a team member.
• Handle production tasks including lifting, stacking, dumping, pushing and pulling of frozen fruit boxes.
• Work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays.
