Job summary

Redner's Markets is seeking a team member to maintain and operate all aspects of the Frozen Food Department in our Sinking Spring store. The role focuses on inventory control, accurate tagging, pricing updates, and ensuring product freshness while delivering friendly customer service.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, follow written and verbal instructions, and uphold company policies and standards."

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write to tag merchandise, place orders, and maintain inventory levels.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Verify deliveries against invoices and report shortages or overages.
• Manage price changes within the department.
• Maintain inventory levels with proper ordering techniques.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and remove out-of-code items.
• Maintain temporary price reductions for certain products.
• Communicate equipment or temperature issues to the manager.
• Handle damaged merchandise appropriately for sales staff.
• Maintain good customer relations and greet customers.
• Adhere to company policies per Employee Handbook.
• Transport products to storage areas and sales floor; keep shelves and cases stocked.
