Job summary

ShopRite of Sayreville is seeking a Frozen Foods Associate to price, stock, and rotate merchandise while delivering a great customer experience. The role requires maintaining sanitation, safety, and QA standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work in the Frozen Department, handle stocking duties, assist customers, and adhere to company policies and safety rules. Training is provided to ensure high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English fluently and understand basic instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for scheduled shifts.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Able to work in refrigerated and high-moisture environments.
• Must be 18+ to operate certain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department sanitation and QA standards.
• Operate a baler and compactor.
• Monitor temperatures and conditions of refrigerated storage and display cases.
• Know Frozen Foods products including usage and price differences.
• Stock and rotate merchandise to keep product in stock and attractive.
• Greet customers, provide prompt courteous service, and assist as needed.
