Job summary

ShopRite of New Milford in New Milford, NJ, is hiring for a Frozen Foods Associate. You will price, stock, and rotate merchandise, keep the department neat and visually appealing, and perform tasks efficiently and safely per company policy.

You will safeguard quality standards, assist customers, and support the Frozen Foods team to maintain an organized and well stocked department. This role requires teamwork and adherence to safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift and regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Able to work in refrigerated coolers and varying temperatures.
• Able to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Comply with Safety, Sanitation and QA standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Department sanitation and QA standards.
• Operate and manage Frozen Foods displays and stock.
• Check prices and ensure proper labeling and signage.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise to Frozen Foods Department.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report equipment issues.
