Job summary

ShopRite of Northvale is seeking a detail-oriented associate for the Frozen Foods Department. You will price, stock, rotate, and maintain a neat and safe department while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include sanitation, operating equipment, monitoring temps, and assisting the Frozen Manager as needed. You will work in a fast-paced store environment with adherence to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products and spices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Department sanitation and QA standards in the Frozen Foods department.
• Operate a baler and compactor.
• Monitor temperatures of refrigerated storage areas and report issues.
• Stock and rotate frozen merchandise per tag allocation and standards.
• Assist Frozen Manager as needed.
• Price items accurately and ensure attractive signage.
