Job summary

Meridian Waste seeks a Frontload Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services for customers. A Class B CDL with air brakes is required and two years of heavy-truck driving experience is preferred.

You will ensure vehicle safety compliance, complete daily vehicle condition reports, follow route sheets, and maintain high standards of customer service while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.
• Two years of experience driving heavy commercial trucks; waste industry preferred.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate a collection truck on designated routes and service customers per route sheet.
• Load and unload refuse using the packer mechanism and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers on a daily basis.
• Maintain accurate route productivity and Vehicle Condition reports.
