Job summary

AndHealth LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a Patient Onboarding Specialist to join our Central Scheduling team. The role serves as the frontline contact guiding patients through complex medical needs with empathy, precision, and judgement.

You will orchestrate scheduling, manage referrals end-to-end, and collaborate to improve workflows while maintaining HIPAA compliance and data accuracy. This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Columbus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Healthcare background recommended or required depending on role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate patient scheduling across service lines with urgency and clinical priorities in mind.
• Own referral process end-to-end: interpret, schedule, and document outcomes in partner EHRs and internal systems.
• Serve as first point of contact for patients/partners; diagnose needs and connect to the right team member when needed.
• Handle pre-visit steps: verify insurance, secure consents, retrieve records, and identify barriers to care.
• Provide a compassionate, tech-savvy experience to ensure patients feel supported and partners confident.
