Job summary

TurbineOne in the United States is seeking a Field Engineer to deploy our Frontline Perception System (FPS) in support of national security customers. You will work remotely with travel up to 50% to install, configure, and validate integrations on customer sites.

Responsibilities include writing scripts (JS or Python) for data routing via API subscriptions, documenting integration plans, and providing hands-on training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in system integration, preferably within defense or related industries.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their practical applications.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, LAN vs WAN, ssh, ip, DHCP etc.
• Proven experience in integrating complex software systems with existing infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site with customers as needed.
• A college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 50% of the year to deployments.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored integration solutions using FPS.
• Identify and define integration processes for FPS with existing systems.
• Write Software Scripts to enable system integrations and workarounds.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success teams to deliver robust integrations.
• Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations to understand customer infrastructure and plan integration strategies.
• Develop integration plans, timelines, and documentation for implementation.
• Provide hands-on technical support and training during integration and deployment.
• Gather feedback to improve integration processes and FPS capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in the field.
