Job summary

Church of the Highlands is seeking an IT Support Assistant to provide front-line technical support for staff, volunteers, and guests within the Information Technology department.

You will assist with equipment deployment, inventory management, and a range of operational tasks, while delivering excellent customer service and helping maintain efficient technology systems across ministries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and mobile devices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move technology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in visitors with basic IT issues.
• Respond to Tier 1 support requests.
• Troubleshoot common hardware/software problems.
• Escalate complex issues as needed.
• Assist with inventory tracking and equipment deployment.
• Support administrative tasks and office operations.
• Participate in team trainings and learning opportunities.
