Job summary

AmeriPro Health in Hamtramck, MI seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide essential Basic Life Support care and safe transport. You will perform patient assessments and assist Paramedics on ALS calls, while maintaining equipment readiness and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• EMT experience required.
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training.
• Technology proficiency with EMS systems and devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and deliver BLS interventions (CPR, oxygen, bleeding control, splinting, vital signs).
• Assist Paramedics with ALS calls and equipment prep.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to receiving facility.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation of care and interactions.
• Safely operate ambulance and maintain readiness of equipment and supplies.
• Assist with stretcher operations and patient handling.
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities.
