Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper in Abilene, TX to load, locate job sites, back, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day.

This role requires compliant handling of materials and safe operation in line with OSHA/DOT guidelines. Key duties include safely unloading products, securing loads, and navigating routes to job sites while maintaining daily truck readiness and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs in order to carry materials.
• Must be able to prioritize and work safely in a delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and locate job sites and prepare and restore the job site.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product for accuracy.
• Navigate routes to the job site and maintain truck and equipment.
