Job summary

Delivery Helper at SRS Distribution Inc. will assist with loading, locating job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and preparing the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with OSHA and DOT, and efficient logistics to ensure timely deliveries. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and strong communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall materials and joint compound.
• Must be able to prioritize job sites and deadlines.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be able to communicate clearly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, especially OSHA and DOT for safety of all personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
• Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
