Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPO) across multiple duty locations. The role combines enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws with ensuring legitimate trade and travel, including inspections of individuals and vehicles.

Salary varies by GS grade (GS-5/GS-7/GS-9) with annual base pay from $41,863 to $127,464, plus potential overtime and generous federal benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in public safety or law enforcement is required or substitutable by education.
• Ability to perform inspections and apply regulations in border-related contexts.
• Knowledge of CBP policies, procedures, and basic investigative methods.

Responsabilités

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
