Customs and Border Protection is hiring CBPOs across entry and mid-level grades (GS-5/GS-7/GS-9) to enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and to inspect individuals and conveyances. The role offers competitive base pay, federal benefits, and potential overtime.

Selected candidates may receive recruitment incentives and prioritized locations with yearly incentives up to $15,000, plus a path to higher grades and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture law and regulations.
• Enforcing the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States; and
• Preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods and the smuggling of illegal drugs and other contraband
