Job summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks experienced Border Patrol Agents for reemployment. You will patrol land, sea, and air to protect borders, investigate immigration violations, and apprehend noncitizens or smugglers in accordance with the law.

Qualifications

Specialized experience in law enforcement or other responsible work demonstrating ability to arrest and exercise sound judgment in firearms use.
Ability to analyze information rapidly and make prompt law enforcement decisions.
Must be proficient in Spanish language per position requirements.

Responsibilities

Prevent illegal entry of aliens and smugglers at borders using surveillance and various assets.
Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways by land, water, or air to accomplish USBP mission.
Detect, identify, and apprehend individuals in violation of immigration and customs laws.
