Qualifications

• Prior teller or new account experience preferred
• Minimum 2-4 years customer service experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency with 10 key touch, Microsoft Office and banking software
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Excellent organizational skills and data accuracy
• Customer service orientation with positive attitude
• Knowledge of banking products, services and procedures
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Overnight and out of town travel possible occasionally

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of customer transactions accurately and efficiently per bank policies
• Cconduct teller transactions including cashing checks, deposits and withdrawals
• Balance cash drawer and assist with cash vault balancing
• Open/close and process branch duties
• Greet customers and build professional relationships
• Answer calls, address questions, escalate issues to internal resources
• Image documents and perform quality checks
• Maintain branch security and customer confidentiality
• Open and process incoming mail
• Complete logs and reports with neat workspace
