Tribe AI seeks a Forward Deployed AI Architect to lead mission-critical client engagements, designing end-to-end AI systems and steering the team to deliver real business impact. You will bridge technology and strategy, guiding clients from initial discovery to deployed solutions and ongoing optimization.

You’ll be the technologist, strategist, and translator, weaving technical choices to business outcomes and teaching client teams how to sustain capabilities beyond engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering complex software systems with strong AI/ML depth.
• Experience leading and coaching a team of engineers over multiple years.
• Hands-on technical lead experience in high-stakes enterprise environments.
• Mastery of the AI development lifecycle from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including executives.
• Background in consulting or client-facing roles where outcomes mattered more than process.
• Systems thinker with a mission-driven mindset to win across engagements.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical discovery with clients, understanding environments and constraints.
• Design AI/ML architectures balancing speed, reliability, and cost while ensuring outcomes.
• Provide architectural guardrails and empower engineers to move fast in the field.
• Lead and coach engineers, setting technical direction for people and systems.
• Engage with clients at C-levels, translating complex concepts into actionable plans.
• Translate client solutions into reusable patterns and share insights across the company.
