Snowflake is building a Frontier Engineering team to deploy production-grade AI solutions for strategic customers. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will architect and ship end-to-end AI systems using Snowpark, Cortex, and LLM capabilities, partnering with data science and engineering teams to turn business challenges into scalable, trustworthy deployments.

You'll own the full lifecycle from prototype to production, implement safety guardrails, observability, and evaluation loops, and travel

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience building apps using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Hands-on experience defining quality metrics and running evaluations for LLM/agent systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced Generative AI environment.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions for customers.
• Define quality metrics and evaluation frameworks for agent systems.
• Design and ship code and data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Productionize AI at scale with safety, observability, and reviews.
• Collaborate with customer data science/engineer teams as a technical partner.
• Travel to customer sites up to 25% as needed.
