Qualifications

• Proven front-end lead or senior engineer with hands-on Angular, Sass and HTML expertise.
• Formal accessibility certification is mandatory (CPACC, WAS or equivalent).
• Hands-on accessibility testing, automated tooling, and keyboard navigation validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Angular, SASS and HTML front-end: architecture, coding standards and roadmap.
• Build and review high-quality front-end code.
• Implement USWDS and the state's design system.
• Own accessibility: WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508, with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
• Run code and design reviews and mentor front-end developers.
• Improve front-end CI/CD and collaborate with Java back-end teams on APIs (no Java dev).
