A formal accessibility certification (CPACC, WAS or equivalent). This is a must have

It's a Front-End Tech Lead focused on UI and accessibility in Des Moines. It's hands-on development plus team leadership, and timing is tight, so I need resumes ideally by end of day today.

Duties:

• Lead the Angular, SASS and HTML front-end: architecture, coding standards and roadmap
• Build and review high-quality front-end code
• Implement USWDS and the state's design system
• Own accessibility: WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508, tested with automated tools, screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard navigation
• Run code and design reviews and mentor front-end developers
• Improve front-end CI/CD and work with the Java back-end teams on APIs (no Java development)

Requirements:

• Front-end tech lead or senior front-end engineer experience
• Expert Angular, SASS and HTML
• Design system implementation, USWDS strongly preferred
• A formal accessibility certification (CPACC, WAS or equivalent). This is a must have
• Hands-on accessibility testing and CI/CD experience
• Clear writing and documentation; government experience is a plus
