Job summary

OpenEd is hiring a Product Engineer to join a small, high‑impact team building new features and products. You’ll work closely with our product team and senior engineers to maintain the existing application and develop new capabilities, with an emphasis on frontend technologies in a fully remote environment.

You will collaborate with experienced developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture discussions to ensure scalability and performance across the stack.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience in scaling environments.
• Strong foundation in React and modern TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, API integration).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features using React, NextJS, and modern TypeScript technologies.
• Collaborate with senior and agency developers to learn best practices and improve coding skills.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Help troubleshoot and fix issues in the existing codebase.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and architect products for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
