Job summary

Condé Nast is seeking an experienced engineer to join our Platform Engineering team, building the next generation of content creation tools. You will lead engineering efforts across product teams to scale our internal platform and deliver editor-focused experiences for millions of readers worldwide.

You will work with Product, Data, Design, UX, and Delivery across locations, contributing to video, subscriptions, and editorial tooling initiatives while upholding performance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expert-level fluency in at least 1 programming language.
• Experience working with, designing, and deploying production-scale React/Ember apps.
• Experience with Design Systems.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong end-to-end testing experience and emphasis on TDD.
• Eager to learn about new technologies and implement them in production.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and product to build web apps for editors to create content.
• Lead projects from ideation to execution and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the broader engineering group on new ideas or improvements.
• Identify and improve code and usability performance issues.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Help grow and expand the engineering teams.
