SOUND DECISIONS is hiring a Software Engineer focusing on front-end work within a full-stack context. You will own UI features end to end, collaborating with a compact engineering team and leveraging AI tooling in daily development.

The role emphasizes front-end depth with occasional backend exposure, and remote work from the United States. Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, with a proactive, autonomous work style.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience in front-end heavy roles.
• Strong depth in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Familiarity with Vite build tool.
• Experience collaborating with backend services is a plus.
• Able to use AI coding tools productively and review outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end features end to end from UI/UX to shipping.
• Work on UI services that consume backend data and support new features.
• Collaborate with a backend-leaning team to integrate front-end with core services.
• Utilize AI development tools as part of daily workflow while ensuring correctness.
