Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Director of Frontend Engineering to lead a high-performing team focused on frontend platforms, accessibility, developer tooling, shared services, and monorepo management.

You will define the frontend engineering strategy and collaborate with UX Designers, architects, and product teams to ensure scalable, accessible experiences. The role demands 8+ years of frontend leadership experience, ownership of large-scale monorepos, and a track record of enabling

Qualifications

Strong hands-on understanding of Angular, TypeScript, and component-driven UI development with modern build and test practices.
Experience owning large-scale monorepo environments including governance, build/release strategies, and shared code tooling.
Solid accessibility knowledge with WCAG 2.2 and testing across platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines supporting frontend assets and shared UI libraries.
Ability to influence engineering leaders and partner with business teams to drive platform modernization and productivity improvements.
Practical experience with DevAssist tools including Github Copilot or Claude Code and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

Lead a group of frontend engineers, UX developers and designers serving Workplace Investing digital products.
Shape the modern frontend strategy for WI Digital and drive improvements and optimization across teams.
Advance and enhance enterprise accessibility tool suites.
