Job summary

Compass is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Transaction Journey team. You will build frontend components for the Forms and eSign products, focusing on user-friendly interfaces and robust performance in a fast-growing real estate platform.

You will test thoroughly, contribute to operational excellence, and collaborate across product and design to deliver impact for agents, buyers, and sellers. A strong team culture and continuous learning are encouraged.

Qualifications

Proven experience with frontend web development and modern frameworks.
2–4 years of software engineering experience.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Ability to write well-tested, high-performance code.

Responsibilities

Develop frontend components for Forms and eSign products using modern frameworks.
Write high-quality, maintainable tests to minimize regressions.
Improve monitoring and reliability; participate in on-call rotations.
Deliver features end-to-end, collaborating with senior engineers.
Serve as SME for internal components and tools.
Participate in Agile code reviews, planning, and design discussions.
