Compass is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the Transaction Journey (TJ) frontend. You will build and refine components for transaction forms and eSign, collaborating with design and product teams to deliver user-friendly experiences for agents and clients.

You should bring 2–4 years of software engineering experience, strong TypeScript/React skills, and a passion for high-quality, well-tested code. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and attention to UI/UX details.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-4 years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of Typescript, Javascript, and HTML/CSS.
• 2+ years of React and NodeJS experience.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with testing best practices using Cypress and Jest.

Responsibilities

• Develop core Frontend components across Forms and eSign products using React.
• Drive Quality and Testing with comprehensive tests to minimize defects.
• Enhance Operational Excellence with monitoring and on-call rotations.
• Deliver Features End-to-End, delivering small to mid-sized components with guidance for complex designs.
• Act as a Component SME and collaborate in Agile workflows.
