Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is hiring for a frontend engineer to help build the operator UI, design system, and data layer powering live telemetry and unified workflows.

You will implement modules within the front-end platform and help migrate features to a single, cohesive interface. The role emphasizes TypeScript and React expertise, performance-minded development, and collaboration with senior engineers in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production web applications using TypeScript and React.
• Contributed to shared frontend codebases, component libraries, or design systems.
• Foundational frontend performance skills with profiling and basic optimizations.
• Experience with state management patterns and real-time data updates (Redux, Context API, WebSocket).
• Ability to collaborate with senior engineers and participate in architectural discussions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the frontend platform for our operator UI, including the application shell, design system, and shared data layer.
• Implement frontend modules following established architecture and patterns that integrate into the unified app.
• Support consolidation by migrating features from separate front ends into the unified operator platform.
• Work with real-time hardware telemetry, rendering live data with performance in mind.
• Learn from senior engineers, engage in code reviews, and apply best practices to improve code quality.
