Job summary

Northstrat is seeking a motivated Frontend Developer to build intuitive applications for our data lake/warehouse toolkit. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver cohesive user experiences in a hybrid, US-based team.

The role requires strong JavaScript expertise (Vue/React/Angular/Backbone), a BS in CS or related field (or equivalent experience), and eligibility for US government security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• 3 years with Master's degree, or 9 years with HS diploma.
• 5+ years of JavaScript experience with Vue/React/Angular/Backbone.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain security clearance (not required day one).
• Hybrid work: two days per week in the San Antonio office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
• JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build user experiences.
• Interact with REST based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues and provide support.
• Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
