Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a Frontend Developer to build intuitive web applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse environment. You will work with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver cohesive user experiences in a hybrid setting, with some on-site collaboration in Columbia, MD.

The role requires 5+ years of frontend experience, strong JavaScript skills, and familiarity with Vue/React/Angular, Git, and Unix CLI. DoD 8140/8570 compliance will be required within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front end software development/engineering experience
• Experience with JavaScript and at least one major web framework (Vue/React/Angular)
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software
• Comfortable on a Unix command line
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance within 60 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Assist with creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications
• Write JavaScript / CSS / HTML and perform code reviews
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences
• Interact with REST-based APIs and troubleshoot customer issues
• Write unit tests and conduct QA testing
