Job summary

Lightning AI is seeking a Frontend Engineer to scale the UI and frontend infrastructure of the Lightning AI platform. You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with engineering, product, and design to ship high-quality improvements.

With over 10,000 organizations using Lightning, this role offers impact across deployments from research to production. The role is based in hubs (NYC, SF, Seattle, or London) with at least two in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience as a Frontend Engineer in a SaaS tech company.
• Proven ability to take ownership of key features and drive end-to-end development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Ability to operate in high uncertainty and rapidly changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Write readable, testable code in React and Redux and build frontend features.
• Collaborate with engineers and product leaders to set technical direction for large projects.
• Evaluate, strengthen, and document architecture, tools, and processes.
• Maintain high software quality, automate, and drive continuous delivery.
• Mentor engineers on system design and problem-solving in high-uncertainty contexts.
