Job summary

Amazon Connect (AWS) is seeking a Front-End Engineer to own end-to-end development for a cloud-based contact center solution. You will work with modern web technologies, contribute to scaleable and resilient systems, and collaborate with UX, PM, and engineering stakeholders to deliver customer-focused features.

The role emphasizes delivering value to millions of customers, working in a fast-growing AWS service, and maintaining a strong customer focus while enjoying a balanced work environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.

Responsibilities

• Own code end-to-end from design to development and collaborate with senior technical leaders across AWS.
• Work across the stack with technologies involving modern web applications, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, Big Data, and more.
• Participate in bi-weekly sprint planning.
• Attend daily standups with the team.
• Attend weekly operational meetings, lunch n' learns, and 1-on-1 coaching with your manager.
• Communicate weekly on project statuses and progress reviews with UX, PM, and Engineering stakeholders.
• Contribute feature code and conduct code reviews for teammates.
• Have fun and build strong working relationships within the team.
